I'm pretty new to these forums. I was trying to find some information on the SysReq's for Vista AKA Longhorn. Since the GUI looks so pretty, I'd imagine you'd need a graphics accelerator to run it... Any hints as to the minimums? |

Hi Nathan, Don't miss out on getting Vista it's the cream of the crop! I think you do need a graphic accelerator, not only that, you might want to get a 512-1GB RAM, 100GB hard disk drive, 75hertz LCD monitor and that's basically it but they're the basic system's requirements you need to get Vista running on your PC. You said it looks so pretty, well that's the reason why you need a faster graphics accelerator ... so your PC won't get bogged down when opening folders and programs. But it's worth the pain, you'll have a more efficient, faster-running and more responsive operating system. So I recommend you get these things right away.
