Hi there, I have installed WinFX beta 3 and the latest Windows SDK on my XP Pro system. I have VS.NET 2005 Pro installed. First question I have is why don't all of the samples for WPF work? And why do they have to be unpacked separately from everything else? I noticed they were in a separate ZIP inside the SDK folder. Some samples inform me of missing references, such as System.Transactions.Indigo amongst others. Some just appear to have syntax errors, and others won't open in my installation of VS.NET (apparently it's missing something, it's a complete install of VS.NET 2005 Pro, should I have installed something else? I'd like to create some XAML apps using VB.NET but none of the samples seem to be VB based, nor can I add a XAML file to any of my projects, should the SDK come with templates? Any light on this subject would be great! Thanks in advance. Nick. |
