When I installed the Feb SDK I found that some files (CertMgr.exe and MakeCert.exe) were invalid executable images. I reburned the ISO image on a DVD and reinstalled and encountered the same problem. I copied the versions in from the Jan SDK and everything seemed to work. However, now none of the WCF IIS hosted samples work. I get a 'Server Application Unavailable' error when I view the URL "http://localhost/ServiceModelSamples/service.svc" in IE. I have been re-registed ASPNET 2.0 and checked all security settings but have found nothing that fixes the problem. I am concerned that I am running into more 'invalid executable image' problems which would imply there is nothing I can do to get it to work. Has anyone encountered similar problems? |
