Today when I used messenger typing 'yes' produced an emoticon - is this new?
How can I override it?

TIA
Sandy

Greetings Sandy,

This isn't a built-in emoticon to Messenger, but Messenger allows you to add custom
emoticons.

As such, to remove this, open up a conversation window, press the Alt key on the keyboard to
bring up the menu bar, choose the Tools menu, then Emoticons, scroll down, find this 'yes'
emoticon, select it and finally choose Remove.

Hi Sandy,

It's possible it was accidently added. For instance, if someone else sends you one, if you
right-click on it and select Add, it will be automatically added to your emoticons.
