After upgrading from Windows 2000 pro to XP pro I found that all of the user
accounts converted except Administrator. When I tried to add the account
Administrator it said the account is already there but it's not listed on the
log on screen. Is there a way to regain access to this account or will I need
to reinstall with a clean install instead of upgrade?

Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete - You may need to do it twice. This will bring up the
full, standard, logon screen. You can log in to the user account from there.

You can make that the default logon screen if you need to.
