Because that's not a directory, it's a shortcut that exists as a junction point for older programs. If you are looking for what used to be "My Documents", it's under C:\Users\your_user_name\Documents |

You cannot, as it is no longer an actual directory but a "junction point" provided for compatibility issues. Documents are now in the "Users" folder instead. -- Richard G. This is a junction pointing to C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files You can take a look at the "Junctions" tool to see where these junctions point to yourself. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896768.aspx -- --------- Scott Seligman <scott at <firstname> and michelle dot net> --------- We knew we would have a tough time against the Steelers but we didn't know we would have to go against the guys in the striped shirts as well. -- Mike Holmgren |

I keep my temp inet files on a different hard drive, and they still show in the Users location. To get at your temp inet files at any location, you need to disable UAC. Makes one wonder why they have a "Move Folder..." button if you can't move the folder. |
