I have just purchased a new HPdv2000 Laptoop. With the following configuration: CPU 2.1 Ghz RAM 3Gig Vista OS I started noticing, while browsing, that pages just wouldn't load. The little blue circle just keeps spinning and the amount loaded bar gets about 1/2 way and no further. I've tried repair on connection, unplugging and restarting the router, and anything else I could think of. The only thing that seems to fix it is to reboot Vista. Once I come back up I can browse fine for awhile (sometimes maybe even an hour or so) then back to same inability to load pages. this thing is happening very frequently i also tried with Mozilla browser the same thing is happening i am not able to use my laptop i have to frequently reboot my system plz help me to resolve this issue as soon as possible ....... plz give ur idea as soon as possible. Thanx |

Hi, First... The fact that both browsers are involved suggests that a third-party security program is involved. What security suite/firewall in installed/running? If it was a trial version, has it been purchased or updated? Then... See if resetting IE helps. With the warning that a reset will delete autocomplete data, such as passwords and you will have to reinstall browser add-ons, work through this article: 936213- How to optimize or reset Internet Explorer 7: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936213/en-us Don [MS MVP- IE] "Gaurav" <Gaurav@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B97EDCA3-BC3E-4546-97AD-8E654554970D@microsoft.com... > I have just purchased a new HPdv2000 Laptop. > > With the following configuration: > > CPU 2.1 Ghz > RAM 3Gig > Vista OS > > I started noticing, while browsing, that pages just wouldn't load. What anti-virus application or security suite is installed? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall (if any)? Is Automatic Updates enabled and is the machine fully patched at Windows Update? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Gaurav wrote: > I have just purchased a new HPdv2000 Laptoop. > > With the following configuration: > > CPU 2.1 Ghz > RAM 3Gig > Vista OS > > I started noticing, while browsing, that pages just wouldn't load. It's probably not going to be this easy but be sure that little wireless switch at the bottom left corner of the HP is toggled to the "on" position. I got caught with this when I traveled with my HP for the first time. It was accidentally switched off during transport.
