I have had problems trying to defrag C: drive and have found a site that was a help, http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/60/1/How-to-fix-Disk-Defragmenter-problems-in-Windows-XP.html. I was getting messages defrag not installed on your computer and I used this and got back disk defrag but it still will not work can any one help me? I have windows XP pro with sp3 Martin. -- mml |

What I recommend: For per-file defragging, Defraggler. http://www.defraggler.com/ For full volume defragging, JkDefrag. http://www.kessels.com/Jkdefrag/ For PageFile and registry defragging (2k/XP only, not Vista), PageDefrag. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb897426.aspx All free.
