eI have a new computer with Vista Home Premium. I cannot access the favorites
menu. I see the shape of a drop-down menu, but it is transparent, and I can't
use it to add favorites. The other menus work OK. Any suggestions? Thanks

Misha, you have the same problem I've got: I can access favorites
using the star (aka "Favorites Center") in the command bar (but it is
very slow). However, I cannot see the favorites after clicking on
"Favorites" in the menu bar. I just see an outline where the
favorites should appear. No text or icons are visible. The outlined
area is active, that is, if I place my cursor in the box, another
outlined area is displayed where the favorites subfolder should be,
and a webpage is loaded if I click in the area.

I'm using Windows 7.0 with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 with all
current updates.

Anybody aware of a fix for this?

Try exporting your Favorites, deleting them all then
importing them.
