At the risk of offending you, is the sound turned up? Toshibas have a volume wheel (usually on the front) that is easily turned all the way down by mistake. If this isn't your case and this is a recent sudden change, try a System Restore to when things worked. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic! Did you install drivers for the Audio from Windows Update? Try rolling back the driver if that is the case. Click on the start Orb, click in the search bar at the bottom, type in device manager. Double click on Device Manager when it appears. Click the + next to the picture of the speaker - another speaker appears underneath - right click this and click Properties. Click the Driver Tab - click Roll Back Driver button and ok. If the Roll Back Driver button is greyed out - there is no previous driver . In that case, do a System Restore to a point before you had the problem. Hope it helps SIW2 -- SIW2 |
