after sp3 auto-updated and installed, my xp tablet goes into a reboot loop. cannot start any version of safe mode. a message 'flashes' during the loop 'invalid boot.ini'. i have a toshiba satellite r15-s829, so the only disks i have are the toshiba ones that do not allow me to go to the recovery console (but will format the disk back to original state!). i have seen xp tablet disks for sale--will this allow me to use the recovery console without formatting the drive? any other cheaper/easier suggestions to get my tablet operational? thanks for your assistance |
