Hello I use Outlook 2007 for email. I have Windows Live Mail installed, but I only use it occasionally, for newsgroups. I normally use Outlook Express for newsgroups. Clicking on new mail notifications for my Hotmail account, in Messenger, brings up Windows Live Mail, when I would prefer it to bring up Outlook, which is my default email client. How can I make email notifications from Messenger open in Outlook, rather than Windows Live Mail? Is the only way to actually uninstall Windows Live Mail? Is there any other way? Registry edit? Cheers ss. |

If I clicked the Inbox in Windows Live Messenger, Outlook 2007 was opened, just like it did in Windows Messenger. After this I tried and installed Windows Live mail. But now WLM was opened with WL Messenger and not Outlook. Then I removed Windows Live Mail again and Outlook was opened once again by clicking the Inbox in Windows Live Mesenger. -- Jan Kuipers |
