Hello! Just Installed Vista 64 (Clean) and everything is working great except my combo DVD. The drive can read both CD and DVD. However, when I burn a CD or DVD, it hangs but never comes to a solution. I'm using Nero 7 and the model is a Sony DRU-840a that says its Vista compatible, I checked for firmware or driver updates but there aren't any. It's detected in Bios and Windows and is scene from everywhere. Tried updating my MB's Bios still didn't help? I would welcome any help that you guys can offer! Thank you... System Information ------------------ Case : Lian Li PC-P80B Aluminum LED Full Tower Computer Case - Black Motherboard : Intel Corporation DX48BT2 AAE26191-203s CPU (Processor) : Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9450 @ 2.66GHz Graphic Card : NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT Memory : 4 GB 2GB (2x1GB) Ballistix PC3 -12800 CL8 DDR3 2GB (2x1GB) OCZ OCZ3P18002GK PC3-14400 (DDR3-1800) DDR3 Monitors : Hanns.G HG281 Hard Drives : 1 TB (4 x SAMSUNG HD501LJ 500GB SATA 7200 RPM 16MB Hard Drive) RAID Level: RAID 10 (striping and mirroring) DVD/CD-ROM drives : SONY DVD RW DRU-840A ATA CdRom Device Optiarc DVD RW AD-7190A ATA CdRom Device Operating System : Vista Ultimate(6.00.6001 Service Pack 1) Power Supply : Thermaltake W0117RU Toughpower 750W Power Supply -- thenicewizard |
