Hi all,
When I turn it on my notebook, it will only show the first screen with
the Acer logo and the blue bar on the bottom, that bar will get to about
60% before the notebook shuts down.
During this process the screen shows the option for Press F2 for setup.
When I do that, the option is replaced with "Please Wait..." and will do
nothing further. Nothing happens if I press Alt and F10 either.
Any ideas ?

Have you tried Acer tech support? That should be your first option,
especially if the warranty is still in effect.

Another possibility: check the documentation that came with the unit, or
Acer's web site, for a recovery (of the factory configuration) process that
can be activated in your situation.

Is the battery charged? Is the AC adapter working?
