I have implemented a new domain controller in our environment. I already transferred all the fsmo roles. I powered down the old dc. My plan is to leave the old dc down for about 4-5 days to vaildate the new domain controller is functioning properly. Then, I will power up the old dc and demote it. Is there a possibility of this causing replication problems or bringing stale data into active directory when I power up that old domain controller to demote it? |
