Is it possible to set a rule that actions for a given email account?

I can find rules to act when there is a given name in the To: or Cc:, but
this won't work if the email is sent by Bcc: or to a catch-all address.

Yes. You can base the rule on which account downloaded the
message. In the Mail Rule screen, scroll down that list that has
the To and CC, and you'll see the 'account' condition.

Hi Gary,

You mean the one that says "Where the message is from the specified
account"? Does it really mean "from", surely "to" is what I need?

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish. Can you
explain what the purpose is?

A From condition, a To condition, and a Cc condition are available
in that list if you remember to scroll down in that list.

I think not, unless there is an update to Windows Mail (and I don't mean the
very nasty Windows Live Mail).
