Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Subject 'Fw: Free Shipping on Orders Over $25. Ends Saturday!',
Account: 'promail.ptd.net', Server: 'promail.ptd.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port:
25, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
This is the error message I'm getting. I thought the problem was solved
yesterday. But as you can see it is not. For info on what I have already
done, please see post titled Help!!!.

Your email settings appear to be correct, according to
http://www.ptd.net/tiki-index.php?page=3Dssl_windows_mail

When you uninstalled Norton before, did you follow up with their debris
removal tool? Norton when uninstalled often leaves a bunch of tentacles
behind that gum up the works:

As an alternative to uninstalling Norton, consider upgrading to=20
Windows Live Mail, because it is less prone to suffering bad effects =
from=20
overly aggressive antivirus programs.

Either way, email scanning in any antivirus must be disabled, for
reasons explained here:
