I moved email from on older Vista PC to my new laptop and setup my email accounts, but now I'm getting duplicate emails from the server. I choose to keep emails on the server so I can refer back to them while on the road checking from other computers, but now they all want to download again. How can I convince my system NOT to download those? Thanks in advance. J |

If your new laptop has no record of downloading those old messages, it will try to download them. All you can do is login to webmail, then move all those old messages into a folder other than Inbox. POP3 clients like Windows Mail=20 can only download from the Inbox folder in the server mailbox. --=20 Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "javelin" <jmevalentin@gmail.com> wrote in message = news:23335b32-ec89-429a-ac9a-6393b2f1e5d9@s21g2000prm.googlegroups.com...= >I moved email from on older Vista PC to my new laptop and setup my > email accounts, but now I'm getting duplicate emails from the server. > I choose to keep emails on the server so I can refer back to them > while on the road checking from other computers, but now they all want > to download again.
