I have found that almost always, when I instal something new on my computer,
after that Windows Mail fails to open - I then have to do a System Restore
and after that I can access it again. Is there any way round this?

Not sure what your problem is, but you could try looking in Task Manager
when WM will not start, right click on the taskbar, then select the
Processes tab look for instances of WinMail.exe, select and then hit End
Process.

WM should now start.
