I have followed the instructions and i keep getting an error message saying
the connection isn't working...I have tried numerous locations for internet,
I know that isnt the problem...very frustrated!!! Cannot send anything at
this point!

If you mean a free Yahoo account, that isn't likely to work, since most
free Yahoo accounts don't have POP access, only web access.

Gmail accounts will work, providing you configure them as shown here:
