I had received 3 out of 18 messages when it stopped. When I hit send/receive
it keeps wanting me to verify my name and password, which I do and then it
just pops right back up with the following message. The caps lock is not on
and I know the information is correct. Any suggestions?

error message -

Account: 'pop.charter.net', Server: 'pop.charter.net', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR invalid user name or password.', Port: 110,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

It's been my experience that when this error message pops up, the problem is
at the server end. You can call your mail provider, but chances are that if
you just wait until later the problem will have been resolved.

That type of error is often caused by interference from a non-
compatible antivirus program. Which antivirus are you running?
As a minimum, email scanning in the antivirus must be turned off.
