I created an user with Administrator rights, and when I try to release the IP Address using this user I get this message: "The requested operation requires elevation". Any ideas why it wont release the IP Address? Thank you. |

Because even though your user has administrative privileges, it still needs elevation. BTW, you should be using Standard accounts for every day work. To run ipconfig from either a Standard or Administrator user account: Start Orb>Search box>type: cmd When cmd appears in Results above, right-click it and choose "run as Administrator".
