I have problem connecting to the router, so i cant connect to internet. Windows keeps telling me that the wlan is not turned on or that this computer doesnt have a wlan, but it has and i have turned it on. If i turn off my computer and on again Windows finds the wlan and i can use the internet for some time, but then I fall ut again and have to turn off the computer once again to connect to internet. I don´t know what is wrong, i dn´´t think my wlan is broken, because it works sometimes, it is more likley somthing whit windows and my D-link router. |

Hi Try to disable the Power saving feature of the Wireless card. Make sure that our Wireless Router SSID Broadcast is On. Try to set the Wireless channel to 11 or 1 if there is a lot of other Wireless around, Jack (MS, MVP-Networking) "charleneh" <charleneh@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:B0449863-4403-4AB8-BAA1-373D7652324D@microsoft.com... >I have problem connecting to the router, so i cant connect to internet. > Windows keeps telling me that the wlan is not turned on or that this > computer > doesnt have a wlan, but it has and i have turned it on. > If i turn off my computer and on again Windows finds the wlan and i can > use > the internet for some time, but then I fall ut again and have to turn off > the > computer once again to connect to internet. > I don´t know what is wrong, i dn´´t think my wlan is broken, because it > works sometimes, it is more likley somthing whit windows and my D-link > router. |
