I own a Toshiba laptop, and I'm the administrator of my own computer (duh). But for some reason, I can't open folders My Music, My Video, and My Pictures. When I try to open, the message says that the folder is not accessible, therefore access denied. I'm logged in as the admin, yet I can't open them! Plus these folders are kind of transparent looking. There aren't any users other than myself. I didn't configure any changes to my computer (other than the background and bar colors). Oh, and I guess I changed my user name on the computer (but does that truly have an effect??). Other than those, no huge configuration. |

"My ******" do not exist as 'real' folders. They are there to provide backward capabilities for programs written for XP. You see them because you have elected to see the protected files that are there for the operating system. If you wish to open your music files by starting at the root, they are at c:\users\your account name\Music Michael "Elisa C." <ElisaC@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:400DC2D5-C7C5-42FE-8A26-AE523F40E428@microsoft.com... > I own a Toshiba laptop, and I'm the administrator of my own computer > (duh). > But for some reason, I can't open folders My Music, My Video, and My > Pictures.
