Hi, 1. You will probably not have Microsoft VM section in Internet Options> Advanced, but if you do, uncheck all options under it. Make sure that Java (Sun) is checked. 2. There may be a troublesome Java applet on your homepage. Does the problem still occur with a different or blank homepage? 3. Start IE7 without add-ons from: Right-click the IE icon on the desktop. Choose Start without add-ons. or Programs> Accessories> System tools> Internet Explorer (no add-ons) If the problem goes away, you have an incompatible browser add-on installed. Start IE normally (add-ons enabled) then close it. Go to Start> Control Panel or Start> Settings> Control Panel. Internet Options> Programs> Manage add-ons. Disable all add-ons then re-enable them one at a time (close and re-open IE after each change) until the troublesome add-on shows itself. Leave that one disabled or uninstall it or see if there's an updated version which won't cause problems with IE7. 4.
