I have tried the Tools unchecking work off line, it still comes back. I have tried closing IE 7 & rebooting. Still comes back with it checked. |

You could ProcMon (depending on your OS) filtering on GlobalUserOffline to find out which process is doing that. Otherwise use clean-boot troubleshooting techniques to try to identify the cause. E.g. start with msconfig startup tab... --- |
