I have a Toshiba P105 S6177 Satellite and I run 32 bit Vista. The other day Windows installed an update and I lost my sound, but was able to retrieve it by going into sound and disabling the Conexant HD and enabling my originial settings. Today, however, I lost sound again and my original option (sorry don't remember what it is now) is no longer there. I just have the Conexant HD for my speakers and an SPDIF Interface also conexant. I do not have external speakers and nothing happens when I plug in head phones. I have no sound what so ever. I've checked the Toshiba site and found nothing useful. Can someone please help me? Is there a way I can do a system restore to a day ago when everything worked just fine? I can't figure it out and I'm about ready to chuck this whole thing and switch to mac. Thanks in advance! |
