Hi, I am having some strange issues with VS I cannot resolve by myself. For some reason VS is not aware of remote unc paths or even mapped drives. I have a mapped drive X: (\\10.0.0.1) which works fine in every program except VS, it simply says the path or drive cannot be found. I am using Windows Vista SP1 with Visual Studio 2008 SP1 beta1 (it did not work in the non SP1 beta1 version either) with UAC enabled. I am also having troubles with opening projects or solutions from the explorer.. It simply does not work. That is however something I can live with :) I cannot reproduce these errors on my other development computer with the same configuration (Vista, UAC, VS2008). Has anyone experienced the same issues? If so, how do I solve them? best regards, oscar |
