I just bought a laptop with vista home on it. I am having a odd printer problem. I have 2 networked printers: a Brother MFC-240CN printer and a HP Laserjet 5m. If the printers are turned on before the computer, then Vista see the printers and show thier status as online. However if the printer I wish to print to is turned on AFTER Visa loads, then the printer status shows as OFFLINE and I cannot figgure out how to make Vista see that the printer is now actually ONLINE. I am not expieriencing this issue on my XP, Linux, or HP-UX computers so it is not a network issue. |

You CANNOT use spaces in the naming convention if you want it to work this way. |
