DNS Management on a DC for non-domain admins We have a few users who are not domain admins that need to manage dns on a domain controller. The dns is for another domain so it is not always an option to run the dns admin console on their PCs. We have added them to the DNSAdmins group and to a group that is allowed to remote desktop to the dcs, but they are unable to manage DNS. When they launch the application they get a red warning icon. Do these users need to be in other groups to manage dns on the domain controllers? thanks, Frank |
