Hello everyone, In an earlier post, I inquired whether I should turn off Avast's "residen protection" as it was scanning my internet mails. I was advised to turn it off. I did. But now Security Center was warning that Malware Protection was turned off, and it listed Avast as being turned off. So, I turned it back on. My question is : I thought I was just turning off part of the Avast's protection. No ? -- t-4-2 |

Hi Tomsa, I would just leave it as is with Avast running with all of the default scanner modules. If you have any problems with Windows Mail from the Avast email scanner interfering, then only "Terminate" the "Internet Mail" scanner module. Hope this helps, Shawn tomsa;788669 Wrote: > "t-4-2" wrote: > > > > > > > > > > Hello everyone, > > > In an earlier post, I inquired whether I should turn off Avast's > > > "residen protection" as it was scanning my internet mails.
