I want to reinstall some of the fonts which came with Vista. I see all the fonts currently installed on my machine in control panel. I can see how to install/uninstall an individual font but where can I get clean copies of the fonts? They are not available from Microsoft.com? I cannot access the Vista install CD to find them there, all it does is try to start the installation process, it does not allow me to look at the files on the CD. I am suddenly having a problem viewing some web sites with IE 7, the fonts are not showing correctly and some have bad spacing. I installed FireFox and Opera and have the exact same problem. The pages when viewed on other machines are fine. This has to be a problem with the fonts on my machine right? Reinstalling the fonts maybe will fix it? I want to avoid a complete reinstall of Vista. I have spent much time searching and looking for help with this. Your suggestions are appreciated, thanks. |
