Does anyone know if there is a way to change to a more robust virtual
video card in VirtualPC 2007? I would like to experiance the full
functionality of Aero in Vista. I'm running Ultimate64 w/ Ultimate32 on
the virtual PC. At a minimum I would like to have some control some of
the settings the "card" would use and such. Or am I just dreaming? I've
googled, and visited many forums but none of the posts seem to address
this head on. Thanks to any and all who might respond. RBI

No - you cannot change the virtual hardware in Virtual PC.
If you want aero then move to an appropriately specified physical device.

Software development always considers user input.

Your idea about being able to change to a "more robust virtual video
card" was... umm.... err... interesting.

The way to use Aero in a VPC vm is to remote into a vm running on an Aero
capable machine. I haven't done it but ask about it in
microsoft.public.virtualpc where the VPC gurus hang out.
