Hi,
2 weeks ago, I installed Vista SP1 update, after that I can't login
to my window anymore. All my data are in the harddisk, I can't afford to
lose them, please help me.
Every time I restart my computer, there are two options:

1. Launch Startup Repair (recommended) <---which doesn't help at all
2. Start windows normally

After I choose option 2, it starts loading, but after a while the
screen turn black and display ! ! 0Xc0000034 ! ! 251/68854
(_0000000000000000.cdf-ms)
And I can't login anymore, even the safe mode.

I really appreciate if anyone can give me some advice, so I won't lose
all my data.

Thank you so much

Hang

In the worst case you can install the hard drive in an other machine as the
secondary drive and you will be able to get to your data and burn it to a
CD.

You can call Microsoft and for $60.00 the will fix the problem or there is
no charge.

Good luck

Tony

Can you bring up Windows in safe mode? If you can uninstall SP1 from there.
You can also run System Restore from the Vista dvd.

i listed.

Does anyone have the same experience as me?
I am going to call the MS soon, and I will let you guys know what
happened.
Thank you for all of you guys.

What about System Restore? You don't have to be running Vista. System
Restore can used by booting with the dvd. This is something new with Vista.

Finally, I called the MS, but they can't do anything about it beside
restoring.

I am traveling right now, all my discs are in my house, so i can't do
any restore things.
I think the only option is wait until i get home and restore it.

Thank you for you guys help.
