I have a dual boot w/XP and Vista Business and it was working, but I could not activate it because DNS problems, was able to fix that, but did not go back right away and activate my Vista copy. 30 day went by and now it won't activate. But hey I am on the internet with my network id?!?!! Why won't it go into windows so I can activate it? I keep getting the code 0x8004FE33 (no internet connection). hmmm... |

If it is a volume licensed version - what kind of VL key have you got for it - a KMS or MAK key ? If in doubt go ask your admin who provided you the key as they work in completely different ways. and read http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/resources/vol/ActivationFAQ/default.mspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb892849.aspx to understand the new activation for Vista VL products. -- Mike Brannigan |
