I am in the process of an upgrade from windows 2000 to Vista and I have had to download some updates from Microsoft. When I try to run some of these downloads I get the message "Extracting file failed. It is most likely caused by low memory(low disk space for swapping file) or corrupted Cabinet file." My PC has some 2GB of ram and when I check Virtual Memory in Control Panel it shows some 2 GB. The 2 downloaded files are approx 12MB and 23 MB. I have downloaded them multiple times and tried to run them with no other jobs running. I am at my wits end to know what to do now. Any suggestions please? Joe |

The 6th download worked! Not sure what the difference was with the previous 5, all the files looked exactly the same but clearly something was different.
