After 10 months of Vista I've almost had enough but just a couple of final questions before I jack it in altogether. My desktop background picture remains the same size regardless of whether I choose fit to screen, tile or centre. Anyone have any idea what's wrong here? Next, despite reading through all the problems people are having with the screensaver, mine will not come on automatically even though I have followed the instructions and recommendations on here. I do not have a wireless mouse and never have. I'm using Vista on a laptop and have nothing on it much apart from the bare essentials as it's only used when I'm away from my desk. The only thing that changes regularly is the Windows Updates which are done automatically. Can anyone help once and for all? Thanks. |

Regarding the desktop background could it be that the image you are using is the same size as the resolution you have set for your display or does it happen for all images ? The behaviour of those settings is somewhat counter-intuitive. Tom |
