I am trying to install Vista Home Premium x64 bit on a single hard disk. It ran through okay once, but once it had to restart for the installation process, it started all over, and wouldn't get past the partitioning process. When selecting a drive I get the error:"his computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure the disk's controller is enabled in the BIOS menu." and when I click Next it says Windows is unable to find a 'system' (http://www.vistax64.com/#) volume that meets its criteria for installation. I've read that this problem only occurs with 2 hard drives. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. -- backlash |
