I'm running a workstation w/ 6 hard drives. My 1st O/S on a separate HD is Win 2K. 3 yrs. later I added XP Pro on another HD. Last yr. I added Vista Ult. on a 3rd separate HD. All worked well & after the SCSI initialization I got to choose which of the 3 to use. Foolish me: I decided to load one of the 3 remaining HDs w/ XP Pro so I could use it exclusively for gaming. Now when I power up I still get THREE choices but instead of Win 2K, XP Pro, and Vista, I get XP Pro (new), XP Pro, Win 2K, but Vista is no longer displayed as a boot choice. Any idea what happened and how I can get it re-displayed? Thankyou. -- Thomas Peter v B |

VistaBootPRO 3.3 http://www.vistabootpro.org/ Install the program in XP. Launch the program and click on System Bootloader. Under System Bootloader Maintenance, select Windows Vista Bootloader. Select All drives and hit the Install Bootloader button. Restart and see if you can access Vista. Good luck Nepatsfan |

To fix the problem use the bootsect /nt60 sys command to replace the boot sector with one that runs Vista's bootmgr when booting from the hard drive. <http://technet2.microsoft.com/WindowsVista/en/library/49ded4da-b66f-4b42-9563-04c218a1a6ac1033.mspx?mfr=true> |
