I am downloading the 90 day trial from Microsoft for Visual Studio 2008 Pro.
On my Vista development machine, when the download completes I am left with
an ISO file that should be burned to a DVD. When I burn it to a DVD it is
still an ISO file and I don't know what to do next. Vista doesn't allow me
to see the image details (files). Am I missing a step? I tried following
the steps as indicated on the download page. Any suggestions are
appreciated.

Sounds like you burned it as a file rather than as a disk image.

There are programs which allow you to read an iso as a disk without burning
it. I forget the name (perhaps MagicIso).

Perhaps that will help

WB:

You need to burn it as an image. I use the free Burncdcc from
terabyteunlimited.com (the authors of the excellent BootIt NG boot/partition
manager).
