Hello Is it possible to use a VS 2005 edition with a VS 2008 licence or do you need to have both licences? Thank you |

The answer is no then I believe. Not unless you bought VS2005 and then paid the upgrade to VS2008, although even then I'm not sure if the upgrade to VS2008 revokes the license to VS2005 (I believe it does for OS upgrades). It's an either or, rather than simultaneous use. With MSDN subscriptions you get to use all editions provided to you during your subscription period.
