Dpm 2007 installed on Windows Server 2008 Standard x64 but can NOT get the dpm agents to work/connect... Have tried installing the agents locally and from DPM server and on different OS but always error report about access denied and unavailable etc etc. It worked fine on DPM 2007 running on WS 2003. And i have applied the non public hotfixes KB950082 and 951557 - still no go... example: The protection agent operation failed because it could not access the protection agent on <computername>.<computername> may be running DPM, or the DPM protection agent may have been installed by another DPM server. (ID 302 Details: ) Looks like I have to go back to Windows Server 2003... |
