Hello, could you please tell me if there is a Windows XP 64bit edition for tablet pc? I currently have Vista 64bit on an HP tablet pc and I would like to switch to XP 64bit. Thank you. |

Unfortunately, the tablet pc os versions are available only from tablet pc vendors... if you have a 64bit tabletpc, afaik, the only option I am aware of is to contact the vendor and see if they can meet your need. Beverly Howard [MS MVP-Mobile Devices] |

No, there is no 64-bit XP version with the Tablet PC functionality on it. Sorry, for 64-bit your only choice is Vista. However, that being said, there's also no particular gain to 64-bit below 4GB of RAM. So if HP is willing to supply an XP Tablet PC Edition for your Tablet, it should work fine. (I'm assuming they wouldn't provide that version if they didn't also provide the appropriate drivers.) -- Charlie. http://msmvps.com/blogs/xperts64 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/charlie.russel "Prograa" <Prograa@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0440A056-8F17-4344-89AD-D2B49A486BC0@microsoft.com... > Hello, > could you please tell me if there is a Windows XP 64bit edition for tablet > pc? > I currently have Vista 64bit on an HP tablet pc and I would like to switch > to XP 64bit. > Thank you. |
