The following web site says "Vista SP1:Create a recovery disc". It says the startup program folder of "Maintenance" contains option of "Create a Recovery Disc" but mine does not have that. I wonder if there is something wrong with my SP1 installation. http://www.istartedsomething.com/20070929/vista-sp1-recovery-disc/ |

Read the follow-up: For unknown reasons, the functionality was then pulled out of the final release of SP1. If you look inside your system files, you can still find recdisc.exe which is the utility's executable, but clicking on it does not launch anything. The shortcut in the Start Menu was also removed, indicating it was removed on purpose. http://www.istartedsomething.com/20080324/recover-create-a-recovery-disc-vista-sp1-rtm/ -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience - Windows Vista Enthusiast --------------------------------------------------------------- "churin" <churin@new.postalias> wrote in message news:uHPrbeUtIHA.552@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl...
