To Stuart: Your information about Vista using up 15% is very revealing. Using your 15% number and my 500 GB hard drive, I get 69.75 GB extra. When I add this number to my 68GB applications and data, I get 137.75 GB used. This is close to what my machine is now showing. This is double my XP space. I called Microsoft today, and their research team is now investigating this problem after they got into my machine for 1 1/2 hours.
