Hi, i have an email stuck in my outbox, I can't remove it, I can't send it, my other gmail accounts work fine. Now i cannot send any mail from that specif account, but I can receive. I tried changing the "from" address to another gmail account listed on my Windows Mail send that email but it does not want to send it. Please can anyone give me some ideas on what to do Thank you Eric |

If you don't know whether you have a 32-bit version of Vista or a 64-bit version, try the hotfix for the 32-bit version first. Certain common antivirus programs, such as most of those from Norton or McAfee, tend to cause stuck messages and other problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately, so if you have such a program, remember where to find the hotfix, and hope it will install again if you need it again. A recent version of the Trend antivirus program also causes assorted peoblems in Windows Mail. The Vista SP1 update includes this hotfix and more, but takes longer to install. The hotfix or update will not necessarily delete that message, but should at least make it possible for you to delete it. |

I had this problem an hour ago and used this fix. It did not automatically delete the blockage but enabled me to do so and so mail can be sent again Thanks for the advice -- tomboydell |
