Suppose I open "C:\foo\bar"; the Explorer window displays the contents of the "bar" folder. I want to get to the properties of folder "bar". Under XP, I could right-click on the icon in the window title bar and choose "Properties". Voil, done. The icon has disappeared under Vista, but if you right- click there, you still get the system menu, but a crippled one with just Restore/Move/Size/Minimize/Maximize/Close. I now have got to get up one level to "C:\foo" first, look for "bar", right-click on it and choose "Properties". Is somebody aware of a solution which would restore the full system menu ? Switching to "classic view" does not change the content of the menu... Thanks. Pierre |
