Ever since I unsuccessfully tried to update my version of Explorer for Vista (7.0.6000.16643), I've had trouble with it freezing up. The symptoms are inconsistent. Sometimes it'll freeze just by openning a new tab. The tab will never sync up; it never gets to the "you've opened a new tab" message. While I can click on other tabs, I cannot open new tabs or close old ones (although, sometimes I can close old tabs). The only way to escape is by using task manager to end my session. Other times, it will freeze in an already openned tab. Finally, sometimes it'll self correct and start working normally. Sometimes it doesn't freeze (or I just did not stay on the system long enough). Confused? I am. Does anyone know what is wrong or how to fix it? |
