Just curios of everyone that uses Windows Live Mail finds it to be better than Windows Mail and why? If I were to install it, any known problems I should be aware of and will it bring all my settings, contacts and so on over? -- All the best, SG Is your computer system ready for Vista? https://winqual.microsoft.com/hcl/ Want to keep up with the latest news from MS? http://news.google.com/nwshp?tab=wn&ned=us&topic=t Just type in Microsoft |

Windows Live Mail keeps the messages for all email accounts separate; Windows Mail uses a single set of Local Folders for all of them. You'll find more Windows Live Mail users in the newsgroup meant for it: microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop |

Thanks Gary for you input. I won't try it on this machine, but have another I can test it on. One thing in your reply that impressed me was you say after you uninstall, WM is back like before.
