You never seem to read anything good about Microsoft, so here goes. I have 2
computers. 1 is a new one with vista home premium. The other is old with xp.
I have only been fooling with computers for a year since I retired. I have
gotten all the updates and sps that are out. I have had no major problems
with either system. I just thought we should hear something once in a while.
thanks

So what you're saying in Microsoft always invests huge amounts of time
and manpower to hurry out a Service Pack to FIX ERRORS you claim most
people don't have which is Microsoft's legacy going all the way back
to the beginning. Sure pal, sure. I'll buy that. Say, can you make
change for my three dollar bill?

You haven't seen any major problems because you just admitted you've
only been "fooling with computers for a year".

Well I've been "fooling" with computers for better than forty years
and I've seen nearly every dumb, stupid, reckless, careless, half-ass,
moronic, crazy thing Windows does. Some are real doozies too.

Here's a few classics:

http://www.aardvarkarchie.com/pictures/work/work033.htm

http://www.thehumorarchives.com/joke/Windows_Error_Messages

Those were mostly spoofs, but the dummies at Redmond have made some
truly senseless error messages of their own like:

"keyboard not working, press F1 to continue"

Or if you even get in a run away situation where dumb as dirt Vista
will open one instance of the same application right after another
which is easy to do if you tell your newsreader to download and view
say 50 image files in one gulp. Vista being really stupid with open 50
instances of Image Viewer and likely eat up all your resources.

Something like this happens:

Of course it is nothing new. Lets go back 10 years:

Even Billy Gates has problems running Windows:

You know Frank always takes whatever Bill Gates says as gospel.

Listen carefully Frank:

Adam Notbright: you've long ago lost any credibility or respect on Usenet.
Apparently those who've met you in real life feel likewise.

To be honest, mate, it's not really worth your while keep posting stuff
here - we only read it for a giggle (and most of us have killfiled you,
anyway). Save yourself the effort.
